Project Administrator – Heersink School of Medicine Constituent Engagement

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Project Administrator for the Heersink School of Medicine, Constituent Engagement team.
The Project Administrator will be responsible for coordinating administrative, personnel and logistical support for ongoing department projects or major sub-components.
The incumbent will carry out established project objectives and directives that will consist of handling varied technical and/or administrative tasks.
The Project Administrator will work closely with the multiple areas within the Heersink School of Medicine Advancement team.
The position will report to the Executive Director of Constituent Engagement.
Key Duties and Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in scheduling, planning meetings and logistics.
May include collecting agenda items and developing agendas
Manage calendar for Executive Director, including managing meeting agendas and meeting materials
Assist with personnel processing including time off requests, onboarding coordination and recruitment efforts in partnership with Advancement Careers
Provide support to Heersink School of Medicine Development Communications team and to the Grateful Patient program
Annual Salary Range: $38,170 - $50,000

Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills including time management
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be flexible and adjust to change
