Head Volleyball Coach

JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Girls Volleyball Coach to join our team.
As the Head Volleyball Coach of our girls teams, you will be responsible for instructing and training athletes in the fundamentals of volleyball, developing their skills, and fostering a positive team environment.
This is a paid position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Transformational Leadership and Coaching: Utilize a coaching philosophy centered around idealized influence, acting as a moral and ethical role model for athletes.
Foster motivation among team members , promoting a passion for volleyball and personal growth.
Demonstrate proficiency in volleyballs technical and tactical aspects, providing athletes with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
* Academic Monitoring and Virtue Development: Vigilantly oversee student-athletes academic performance, ensuring they achieve balance and success in their educational pursuits.
Cultivate an environment that emphasizes the development of virtues such as integrity, resilience, and teamwork, in line with Christian educational values.
* Management Skills: Responsible for the meticulous management of the volleyball programs use of resources.
Lead the coaching staff in development to provide optimal training and competition environments.
* Feeder Program Engagement: Actively engage and support feeder program to ensure a consistent and skilled influx of athletes into the high school volleyball team.
Establish and maintain strong connections with the elementary and middle school to promote the volleyball identity and presence.
QUALIFICATIONS * Preferably Head Coaching experience in volleyball at the High School level.
* Demonstrated commitment to Christian education values and the ability to model those value within the athletic program.
* Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students, coaches, and the community.
* A deep understanding of current trends in volleyball, athletics, health, and fitness education.
ROLE IMPACT The volleyball Coach at Cornerstone High School will be instrumental in guiding young athletes through their development, leveraging volleyball to impart life lesson, enhance student life, and cultivate a community centered on health, respect, and excellence.
The successful candidate will be a key figure in promoting Christian values through sports.
