POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tennis Center Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day business operations and logistics of the Hoover Metropolitan Complex Tennis Center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise part-time staff
Train all pro shop staff as needed on systems and procedures
Provide supervision when needed for evenings, weekends and during special events
Prepare, forecast, and monitor budget
Responsible for payment processing policies and reporting
Oversee the reporting of weekly sales reports, usage reports, and tennis center pro commissions
Effectively collaborate with Finance Manager on all aspects of the budget
Responsible for Pro Shop product inventory and equipment
Purchase retail items as needed within approved budget
Assist members and guests with scheduling and facility policies
Respond to all requests for court rentals and events
Coordinate court schedule for all bookings (league, events, team practices, schools, members, non-members, camps, and tennis center pro's lessons and clinics)
Primary contact for United States Tennis Association (UTSA) and league captains
Properly use facility software to effectively manage membership, programming and court rentals
Maintain a clean and organized pro shop, courts, and grounds
Track and report maintenance and cleaning issues
Update operations manual as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages
Flexible work schedule (e.

Prior experience supervising staff and using Microsoft Excel (preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
Must work well with others
Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
Must be 18 years of age or older
