This position support other academic and career advisors, student organizations, department chair and faculty within the School.
Will academically advise accounting and finance students and will support student organizations within these disciplines.
To provide guidance and advice to students on such matters as course selection, course prerequisites, career planning and continuing higher education.
To provide other counseling services regarding student academics or other aspects of student life.
To refer to other agencies or offices as required.
To collect data related to assessment of students, assist with student recruitment/retention and serve on special committees as needed.
To maintain accurate student information and adhere to confidentiality standards.
To provide new student orientation and outreach services to junior colleges for undergraduate program admissions.
May coordinate support services for students, prepare special and recurring reports regarding status of students and/or assist with departmental publications.
(Annual Salary: $34,320 - $45,000) Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
