Description Program Coordinator II: School of Public Health The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Program Coordinator II within the School of Public Health (Biostatistics).
The position is an ancillary study to the main REGARDS Study.
REGARDS is a longitudinal epidemiologic cohort study.
The REGARDS Physical Activity and Sleep study looks to recruit 5000 participants.
The study aims to examine physical activity and sleep quality to the risk of stroke and cognitive decline.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of this ancillary study with oversight from the Program Manager, Research Administrator, and the Principal Investigator.
Job duties include Assisting with the ongoing retention of REGARDS cohort participants, conducting telephone recruitment calls, administering a health history survey, initializing, shipping, downloading, and recording accelerometers and sleep device data, and coordinating participant payments via the Greenphire system.
The incumbent must be able to speak clearly on the phone, have excellent customer service experience, and be very organized with keen attention to detail.
Must follow instructions and protocol for the tracking and data collection attend and participate in study meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.
Salary Range: $18.
35 - $29.
80 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required.
