General Responsibilities
To work with and meet the diverse needs of at-risk medical students to provide them with the specialized advising needed to support their needs, to provide specific programming and to provide outreach to at-risk cohorts.
To develop and oversee mission-critical programming.
To develop initiatives for pipeline students, students with a decelerated academic trajectory, and for clinical students.
Primary Responsibilities
Works with medical students to enhance their active learning strategies, provide academic coaching, and identify risk of academic difficulty.
Works closely with the Director to facilitate accommodations within the School of Medicine for students with disability support needs.
Provides academic coaching to medical students through national board exams.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Annual Salary Range - $50,050 - $81,330
Qualifications
Master's degree in Education or a related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with professional school students.
