Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and focused learning environment
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive educational program
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that may arise
- Implement early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and welfare of all students
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject matter, particularly in math and literacy education
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in early childhood or daycare settings
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Passionate about education and dedicated to the success of each student
