_*Job Description*_
Previous experience in a childcare setting is a preferred, but not required.
Teachers are responsible for planning daily age appropriate activities.
Encouraging all children to engage in planned activities.
Teachers must be knowledgeable about where each child is developmentally.
Teachers are required to keep attendance records on children, including daily observations and information about activities, including eating and sleeping patterns.
Other responsibilities may include preparing food, or formula, properly cleaning and storing toys, and daily cleaning of baby cribs.
Changing and properly disposing of diapers, keeping changing area clean and sanitized.
All teachers must have excellent customer service skills, and work as a team.
Teachers must possess the ability to communicate effectively and clearly daily with parents about their child’s daily participation or behavior in their classroom.
