Preschool Floater Teacher

*Essential Functions* * Ability to maintain classroom control * Maintain a safe and healthy classroom * Uphold confidentiality * Be prepared to take on the role of lead teacher when needed *Daily Tasks* * Build relationships with parents and staff * Provide a safe and clean environment for the students * Assist the lead teacher with student supervision in the classroom, common areas and playground * Actively engage in classroom activities * Assist the lead teacher with classroom control * Distribute projects and assignments to each student’s folder * Assist in the completion of reports as needed (health, incident, accident, daily) *Weekly Tasks* * Make copies of classroom materials * Inventory each student’s cubby for items needed (clothes, diaper, wipes, etc) * Assist the lead teacher with lesson plans as needed * Sanitize cots * Check classroom equipment and materials to ensure they are in good repair *Monthly Tasks* * Laminate teaching materials as needed * Assist the lead teacher in updating classroom décor to reflect lessons * Assist the lead teacher in developing projects/crafts for the month *Abilities* * Decision Making * Leadership * Ethical Conduct * Teamwork *Physical Demands* The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work* This is a full or part time position, Monday through Friday and hours vary, depending on campus needs.
Extended hours may be necessary as needed to cover staffing during business hours.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $10.
