Drum/Guitar Instructor

The Genesis School of Music is a Christian organization, celebrating 10 years of music education in the Birmingham area.
We are currently interviewing instructors for the following locations: Trussville, Gadsden, Springville, Leeds and Chelsea.
We teach many instruments -- but our most requested are piano, guitar, drums, voice and strings.
Hours of operation are after school hours: 3-8 PM.
Our employees can expect to work anywhere from a minimum of 5 hours- with a max of 20 hours.
This fluctuates based on needs of the school and employees.
Applicants need to be good with children (we begin lessons at age 4); have a love for teaching; and play at least one of the listed instruments above (if you can play multiple instruments, that is a definite plus).

Responsibilities: * Teach music theory and technique to students of all ages.
* Develop and maintain lesson plans that meet the needs of each student.
* Encourage students to practice and develop their musical skills.
* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress.
* Attend school concerts and other events as needed.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $23.
00 - $25.
