As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support students in their educational and developmental needs.

Responsibilities: - Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities - Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs - Help students develop literacy skills through reading and writing exercises - Support classroom management by reinforcing positive behavior and redirecting disruptive behavior - Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment - Assist in the preparation of materials and resources for lessons - Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers - Assist with the supervision of students during recess, lunch, and other activities - Attend meetings and training sessions as required Requirements: - Experience or education in early childhood education, special education, or a related field - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Familiarity with working with children on the autism spectrum is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children - Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Skills: - Literacy education - Classroom management - Special education - Childhood development - Working with individuals with autism - Math skills (basic arithmetic) - Childcare experience or certification (preferred) - Knowledge of preschool curriculum (preferred) - Lesson planning If you are looking for a fulfilling role where you can make a difference in the lives of children, we encourage you to apply for the position of Paraprofessional.
