Job Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is accepting applications for a full-time, twelve-month faculty in the Health Physics (HP) Program, Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences (CDS), School of Health Professions (SHP).
The position is open rank and is tenure track eligible.
Tenure earning, tenure status, and faculty rank is commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.

Required Qualifications
An MS in Health Physics or a closely related field is required.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years of didactic teaching experience in Health Physics related courses
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have extensive working experience in the Health Physics industry.
Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Health Physicists (CHP).
