Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child - Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques - Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress - Assess children's learning and development through observation and assessment tools - Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs - Provide individualized instruction and tutoring as needed - Plan and lead physical education activities to promote gross motor skills Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred - Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting - Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education - Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a positive learning environment - Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Knowledge of child welfare regulations and guidelines for childcare centers We offer competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
