*Job Description:* Provides childcare services and Unitarian Universalist religious education to children from infant to two years old or 3 years to 5 years old.
This includes a lesson plan provided by the church’s Director of Lifespan Faith Development (DLFD), snack time, free play time, and outdoor activity.

* *Hours:* Sundays - 9:15AM-1:00PM Morning service will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM, Religious Education for all ages will be held from 11:15AM-12:30PM Wednesday evenings - 5:45PM-8:30PM Small Group childcare will be from 5:45PM-7:15PM, Choir childcare will be from 6:45PM-8:30PM *Compensation:* $15/hour *Responsibilities:* * Arrive at 9:15AM each Sunday and 5:45PM Wednesday evenings to prepare/receive students * Prepare for the day’s activities and check room for health and safety needs * Implement the activities provided with volunteer/co teacher * Serve snack * Supervise children during free play time and playground time * Check children in and out as parents drop off and pick up * Communicate with parents regarding each child’s needs and preferences and maintain notes on these in the classroom * Tidy and re-set the room * Assist children with toileting and change diapers as needed * Prepare the room for Monday cleaning using a provided checklist of duties * Leave sign in/ out forms and notes for the day with the DLFD before leaving * Communicate with the DLFD as needed regarding classroom needs * Attend annual staff training (training time is compensated) * Demonstrate respect and kindness towards other staff and all children in the program *General Requirements:* * Must be at least 21 years of age * Must have current COVID-19 and TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccines * Must submit application for and pass a background check *Education and Training Requirements:* * Must have previous experience working with young children in an educational or recreational setting *Work Location:* * One location Work Remotely * No Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $15.
