*Position Summary: * As a Fire Sprinkler Service Sales Representative, you will be a key player in promoting our company and expanding our fire sprinkler service offerings.
Your role involves building new client relationships, estimating leads, and ensuring quality and compliance throughout the process.
We’re seeking an experienced individual who can drive sales, maintain high standards, and communicate effectively.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * Obtain New Relationships: Identify and establish connections for service and inspection jobs.
* Collaborate with Property Managers: Work closely with area property managers to update them on our services and identify additional sales opportunities * Maintain high standards of workmanship and professional representation and responsiveness for prospects and customers.
* Ensure all work orders are acknowledged and completed within the set time constraints and within budget * Maintain a strong communication with the main office and utilize CRM software * Estimate jobs independently (service, inspection and smaller contract jobs) * Other duties as assigned *Skills, Knowledge and Ability:* * Fire Protection Sales Experience: At least 5 years of related sales experience in fire protection and fire alarm industries.
* Construction Trades Knowledge: Understand construction trades and facilities maintenance requirements.
* Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to read and understand building plans and blueprints.
* Ability to perform intermediate level mathematical functions and calculations * Excellent administrative and organizational skills, expert in communication, writing, and documentation abilities.
* Familiarity with OSHA, state and local building and fire codes, and inspection processes.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize wisely * Computer knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office software, construction management software and the ability to manage online documentation of service requests, utilize time and material tracking programs.
* Strong leadership qualities * Strong negotiation skills * Deadline and detail-oriented *Licensure/Certification/Education:* * Must be able to pass criminal background check * Must have valid Driver's License with clean record * High School diploma or general education degree (GED) * NICET Certification in ITM or Water-Based Layout preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Expense account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: * Birmingham, AL: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
