Sales & Business Development – Containers and Trucking
Reports To
The successful candidate will report to General Manager.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will identify new potential customers, will develop relationships, and will sell roll-off container services and tri-axle dump truck services in the greater-Birmingham area.
Effective time management, self-starting, and cold-call skills required.
The overall objective is to lead the sales effort toward rapid company growth and expansion.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Utilizing the telephone, video conferencing, and in-person sales calls, the successful candidate will network with users of roll-off containers and dump trucks for waste, alloy, or any other bulk materials hauling.
· Expectation is that the salesperson will use at least Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to make calls, and will do office work on Monday and Friday, including writing quotes, submitting call reports, and submitting expense reports on a timely basis.
· As necessary, the salesperson will interface with the operations manager to ensure that all equipment is utilized to its maximum, and to ensure that all orders are scheduled and covered correctly.
· The salesperson will help the ownership/management team to identify and evaluate new business development opportunities and will help prepare simple plans to aid in evaluating investments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $70,000.
