Logistics Account Manager

*```Duties```* -Cold calling/ sales/ going after new business - Building relationships with new customers.
- Maintaining customer relationships and providing white glove logistics service by sourcing carriers for their shipments and managing their logistics.
(You will be trained for all of the above) - Quoting and negotiating rates with customers and carriers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with carriers.
- Learning and using new software and load boards (Truck-stop, Trucker tools, TAI, Trucker Tools, etc.
) *```Skills```* Preferred Skills- - Strong knowledge of carrier sales and account management in the freight industry.
- Proficiency in supply chain management principles and practices.
- Experience in transportation sales and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with transportation planning software and systems.
- Ability to negotiate pricing agreements with carriers to achieve cost savings.
Required Skills- - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership skills in sales management.
