DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Loan Specialist I – Payments and Maintenance is responsible for processing commercial, consumer and real estate loan payments and advances; monitoring, reviewing and working daily and monthly Loan Servicing (DMI) reports; and performing corrections and maintenance on all existing accounts.
The incumbent will:
Review and accurately process commercial, consumer and real estate loan payments and advances
Process loan extensions
Review, research and address all maintenance issues to ensure accurate processing
Respond to routine loan officer or client inquiries related to account balances, loan balances and payoff requests
Assist with dual control quality check of previous day loan payment and maintenance entries
Process corrective entries for GL Settlement and Non Post accounts
Process incoming Loan Servicing (DMI) payments as received
Review and enter Wire transactions for New and Increased Loan Fundings

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) or more years of related or similar experience
Basic knowledge of commercial and consumer loan documentation and related regulations
Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
The physical requirements and environmental conditions of this position consist primarily of:
Sustained sitting at a desk or workstation
Frequent use of PC, including typing and sustained attention to monitor
Frequent typing using a keyboard and/or calculator
Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 25 pounds
Normal office environment with comfortable internal temperatures and low level noise
