I am new to the area and hoping to meet musical humans.
*About Me:
I play guitar, bass, drums, and have recently begun learning the basics on piano.
However, my most favorite instrument is my voice.
I enjoy writing my own songs (music+lyrics) and collaborating.
I have studio experience with others and have recorded my own tracks as well.
I shoot and edit my own music videos.
I have performed solo as well as with several bands.
Some of them were cover bands, in others we were strictly original.
These groups ranged from 2-7 members and spanned several genres (rock, rap, country, blue grass, jazz, pop, 'wedding').
*What I'm Looking For:
I would like to be around other musicians.
Jam sessions, tips on what open mics are worth visiting, karaoke night recommendations, forming a band, collaborating on original material, recording hooks/harmonies, etc.
Suggestions are welcome as well, my goal is simply to form musical bonds within my new community and I am open to what that might look like.
