For sale is a beautiful 2008 Jimmie Vaughan Strat in an Olympic White finish, with three Tex-Mex single coils, and a maple fretboard that features a soft “V” neck carve.
The Jimmie Vaughan Strats featured necks and bodies that were made at the Corona, California Fender plant, but assembled at their Ensenada plant in Mexico – so it has an American vintage style bridge with SAE threads on the tremolo bar and saddle screws, and an SAE sized truss rod rather than the Metric ones on the regular Mexican models.
I am the second owner of this guitar, and I purchased this from a good friend in 2018.
He did not gig, and never took it out of the house.
I took it to one gig in the summer of 2021.
It has been kept in a humidity controlled room in its case and very well maintained and cared for.
I have added Schaller strap locks to the guitar for safety.
There are no issues with any of the electronics and switching, and you will find it very smooth playing and a nice action on the guitar.
I have the guitar set up with 10-46 Ernie Ball Slinkys.
There is a scratch on the back of the guitar that goes from the rear tremolo route cover down to the lower bout, and this can be seen pointed out with a pencil in the photos.
Other than that scratch, which cannot bee seen while playing the guitar, you won’t find any other dings, gouges, or scratches.
The guitar comes with a hard shell case, the tremolo bar, Schaller strap locks, and the original Fender hang tags, and manual.
