I have a rare, vintage 80's Mesa Boogie Studio Caliber 20 watt all tube, hand built 1x12 combo amp.
It has 2 channels, Rhythm (clean) and Lead (crunch), with separate controls for each channel.
It also sports a nice tube driven spring Reverb with separate controls for each channel.
This is a little beast of an amp, built like a tank, and wayyyy louder than you think it would be for a 20 watt amp.
If you have ever owned an older Boogie, you know what I mean, and it sounds awesome! Glassy cleans to metal mayhem, and everything in between.
The original Black Shadow 12" speaker is still in the amp and it sounds great.
The amp is covered in the original factory Gray Taurus tolex.
It is in great shape for it's age, with just a few nicks in the tolex.
Everything on it works just as it should.
I made a Bamboo grill for the amp just to give it a different look.
The original Mesa Boogie Black Jute grill for the amp is also included, along with the original screws, washers, Mesa/Boogie badge, a manual, and the original
footswitch.
This amp was built and wired by hand in Petaluma, CA.
