Job Description:
Responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the HSROC & TKC-AR clinics.
Handles hiring new employees and disciplinary actions when appropriate.
Responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in managing the scheduling, Front Desk, and Medical Records activities for the departmental clinics; serves as liaison with Access, Department and Department Clinics; tracks Access dashboards, prepares & analyzes monthly clinical reports for the departmental clinics; manages clinic scheduling, front desk, and medical records staff; assists with clinic budgets.
Handles employee evaluations, counseling, disciplinary actions, and recommends promotions; interviews applicants, train new employees, staff, physicians and residents on scheduling, front desk, and medical records issues; authorizes requisitions for two divisions, process payroll, coordinate and facilitates meetings to keep the providers, clinic staff, managers and others informed of any changes with the IDX scheduling; maintains and sets up new providers master schedules and blocks out providers schedules for time off requests, meetings, etc.
; attend conferences; and performs special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or a combination of education and experience.
Two (2) years' supervisory experience.
Preferred: Five years related experience; knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding; possess a general knowledge of medical billing.
