Paper Airplane is currently searching for a full-time Accounting Manager at our location in Downtown Birmingham.
This position is full-time with an expected schedule of 40hrs per week.

*Responsibilities*:
* Devise, implement, and oversee the company's financial strategy.
* Manage financial accounts, payroll, client invoicing, sales tax calculations, budgets, and financial assets.
* Conduct transactions, manage debts, and forecast cash flow.
* Ensure adherence to accounting procedures to achieve financial goals.
* Monitor and analyze financial data to inform decision-making.
* Produce financial reports from data analysis and make recommendations to stakeholders.
*Qualifications:*
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
* 2+ years of experience managing financial operations including payroll, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable (AP/AR), ideally within a B2B environment.
* Bonus points for experience at a organization with multiple service lines.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA certification is a plus, but not required
* Fundamental understanding of sales tax requirements and regulations
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Solid communication abilities, both verbal and written.
