Overview:
We're looking for a Claims Director to join our successful, growing organization.
Joining a team of like-minded professionals; all focused on building a stronger brand, delivering outstanding customer experience and improving our claims process.
Working with senior leadership and guiding a team, your expertise within the claims' arena will be appreciated.
Recognizing opportunities for improvements is a critical part of your role.
Responsibilities:
Skills for Success:
Management of Claims Handling team
Resolve and analyze the claims process; notification, investigation and handling, seeking operational improvements and implementing them
Encourage your team to deliver outstanding customer service for claims handling
Manage and monitor the referral process, evaluate the options available and make effective decisions aimed at improving service levels
Lead and handle complex claims using expertise and the opportunity to mentor more junior members of the team
Focus on delivering revenue and business goals whilst working within the operational budget
Outline strategy and other claims-based projects happening within the wider organization
Developing key relationships with other departmental heads
Mitigate risk, ensure the company is aligned with all regulated frameworks
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience; 3 years' experience in a claims role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Medmal, PL, GL specialiazations of end to end claims management
Behaviors:
Understanding of the lines of coverage within area of responsibility
Strong organization skills and ability to maintain diverse and large workload while meeting deadlines
Strong knowledge and working ability to use all claims and business related software
