Free dog

I have a male German shepherd/lab mix that's looking for a new home, he's around a year old and he's a very sweet and smart dog but he has to stay tied up and it isn't really fair to him.
He would make an amazing hunting dog or companion for someone, he just has a little too much energy for us.
He hasn't been around kids before but he's been around our cats and other dogs so we know he's good with other pets.
