Position Summary:
Directs operations of a programmatic function.
Operates with a high degree of independence.
Responsible for program development, content and administration.
Establishes program objectives, manages programmatic fiscal activities, supervises staff engaged in carrying out program activities and may require grant writing and/or other ability to secure program funding.
Prepares various reports for program.
Duties include:
-Data collection, evaluation, and report writing
-Management and Coordination of AHEC Scholars Program
-Communicate with Stakeholders
-Develop continuing education program
-Coordinate payments to subcontractors
-Provide strategic outreach
Salary Range: $60,835 - $98,855
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required.
Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
10 years of experience in higher education, program management, or non-profit management.
An understanding of UAB policies.
Program management, report writing experience
Strong writing skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Ability to work on a team
Ability to work with variety of stakeholders
