Teacher- Assistant

JRELC – Position Overview 8 hour shift between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM for Full Time - Part time 8: 00 AM to 1:00 PM Full Time Benefits include earned vacation 10 days annually, sick leave 10 days annually, designated holidays 17 days annually, training available.
Floater Position and Pre-K Position.
Areas of Responsibility: * Organization, Safety and Health * Child Guidance: Ability to solve child conflicts using positive behavior strategies.
* Record Keeping * Curriculum Planning and Implementation: Uses resources to plan developmentally appropriate experiences both indoors and out.
* Professionalism: attends training, staff meetings.
* Family connections: Maintains ongoing communication with families, participates in parent orientations, parent conferences, and parent involvement activities.
* Functions as a member of the school team.
* Desire to learn and work with diverse population.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma/equivalent, required; Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) OR at least 9 credit hours of college coursework in Early Childhood preferred * Minimum of one(1) year working with young children in a child care setting * 19 years of age or older * Must be able to pass DHR background screening Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.
