Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare classroom
- Monitor and assess children's development and progress
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
Skills:
- First aid certification to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured and positive learning environment
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to provide caregiving support to toddlers, including diaper changing, feeding, and comforting
- Effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in children
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Previous experience working with children, such as babysitting or volunteering
This position requires a passion for working with children, patience, creativity, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
