AIM Academy is expanding! We recently opened our school in Helena and we are seeking an assistant director.
Our ideal candidate is a passionate, thoughtful, and energetic ECE leader.
*Job Description Summary*
The assistant director’s primary areas of responsibility will include the following:
*Leadership*: Strive each day to establish and maintain a culture consistent with our core values
*Personnel*: Help with all areas of staff management including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation and recognition
*Program Quality*: Ensure (i) our curriculum is properly implemented in accordance with best practices in early childhood and (ii) all health and safety policies and procedures are diligently maintained
*Parent Engagement*: Highly attentive to parent needs to ensure each family becomes connected to our school community
*Skills and Requirement*
* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred, but other ECE credentials will be considered
* Three or more years of management experience in early childhood
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient computer application skills
* CPR and First Aid Certified
* Must pass all background checks and meet AL DHR state requirements
* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
*Compensation*
* Base salary of $35,000 to $40,000 based on years of experience and overall qualifications
* Quarterly bonus opportunity up to 20% of base salary
