*Job Description* We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach courses in our *Dental Assisting* program.
This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director.
The primary responsibility will be to teach *Dental Assisting* courses.
Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.
*Location: Fortis Birmingham* *Requirements* *Skills/Competencies/Qualifications: * * Documented expertise in academic area as demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications, resume * Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant * Completion of an accreditted Dental Assisting program certificate, diploma or degree * Post-secondary teaching experience preferred * Strong organizational and planning skills * Team player who demonstrates initiative, dependability and reliability Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.
