About the Job
Ruan is now hiring Class A CDL flex drivers to be based out of Birmingham, AL to support our dedicated customer, O'Neal Steel.
Flex drivers will learn several different operations and haul various commodities and equipment types with flatbed, dry van, refrigerated, and tank trailers.

Pay
Pay is $0.
62 per mile, $25 per stop, and a $20 layover for each night out with $1,650 per week guarantee.
Drivers and will average $90,000+ per year and are paid weekly.
Schedule
This flex position will play a key role in supporting multiple Ruan and vendor locations and will require travel typically within a 500 mile a radius.
Drivers could be out 5 days but could also have home multiple times during the week.
Work primarily Monday through Friday schedule with mostly morning start times between 4-6 a.
m.
Home time will vary depending on which location/run you will be supporting.
Travel on the weekend may be required at times.
Area of operations include Alabama, Tennesse and Georgia
Equipment
Flex drivers will primarily haul flatbed trailers with various commodities, but may also use dry van, reefer, and tank trailers.
This account provides assigned sleeper tractors.
Flatbed experience is preferred.

Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 22 years or older
No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
