Job Requirements and Preferences: Basic Qualifications: Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s) Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree Preferred Fields of Study: Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Management Information Systems, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader: Understanding architectural design and application delivery; Utilizing analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify, debug and resolve technical issues; Understanding business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications to drive technology change; Understanding architectural design and application delivery; Understanding lean IT principles and data driven approaches; Understanding business acumen that can interpret and translate goals into technical specifications to drive technology change; Understanding business knowledge and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and influence relationships with senior leaders.
Leveraging business and domain acumen to interpret and translate architecture plans to business plans; Supervising and establishing the delivery of project initiatives; Building trusting and influential relationships and engaging with vendors and third parties as appropriate; Collaborating with other architects to provide technical design guidance to align with strategy and technical standards; Working independently to evaluate and make strategic decisions that will address specific technology design needs; Participating in the development of thought leadership to influence their sphere of technology in the use of innovation to advance business capabilities; Researching and evaluating emerging technologies and novel approaches to make recommendations to enhance business processes and/or create a competitive advantage; Participating in application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues and application rationalization; Innovating around new application ideas to deploy to all staff; Keeping up to date with industry trends to recommend 3rd party applications for PwC employee to leverage reporting on a monthly basis to demonstrate adoption; Working closely with the communication team to advertise and socialize the benefit of new applications; Working with Senior Leadership steering group to get applications approved for deployment; Displaying initiative and an ability to lead others; Learning rapidly and continuously taking advantage of new technologies, concepts and business models; and, Demonstrating a history of staying current in emerging technology trends.
