Basic purpose of the position: Perform the essential functions required to ensure compliance with the company and customers procedures.
Provide to customers, relative to inventory, product specifics, billing and scheduling of inbound and outbound movements of product and to maintain confidentiality in all matters.

The associate must be in compliance with all safety rules/policies and prepared to report safety and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory personnel.
Individuals performing this function must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
Job performance without equipment damage is essential to meeting our customers' safety, quality and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures;
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the company's sole discretion;
Must be able to work overtime per day or per week, weekends, and Holidays as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meets its business needs;
Perform housekeeping duties as required by site management;
Must respond promptly and help resolve customer concerns and complaints
Perform inbound and outbound functions of truck/railcar traffic
Accurately weigh inbound/outbound trucks via truck scale
Monitor shipper inventories utilizing computer entries
Distribute documents/shipping papers as needed for transportation of railcars and trucks
Complete required HAZMAT training within the first 90 days of hire, in accordance with 40 CFR 265.

Experience Requirements: Experience in customer service, scale operations, or computer experience
Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training:

Physical, Mental & Sensory Requirements:
Ability to occasionally work in an outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions;
Must be able to sit for extended periods of times;
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to operate standard office equipment – computer, calculator telephones, fax, 2-way radios;
Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 25 lbs;
Must be able to work independently;
Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks;
Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment
