Front Desk Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and committed Front Desk Assistant to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
At Cornerstone Endodontics, our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice.
The ideal candidate for the Front Desk Assistant position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care.
This candidate will also eventually be cross trained in dental assisting.
Your Daily Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting the doctor during a variety of endodontic procedures Greet and accompany patients for treatment to ensure their comfort Sterilize, maintain, and organize instruments and prepare treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols Capture X-rays and other scans as needed Enter and complete patient chart notes and documentation Performing office administrative tasks Scheduling procedures for clinical visits Answering calls promptly Enter patient’s insurance information in practice management software.
Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients and referrals.
Calculate patient financial responsibilities based on insurance coverage.
The ability to stay organized while working in a fast-paced environment Focused on details Preferred Qualifications: Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assisting program preferred 1+ years experience as a Dental Assistant preferred 1+ years medical billing and insurance experience preferred.
1+ years of customer focused experience High school diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
