Pipe and Foundry is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Bessemer, AL.
The successful candidate will play a key role providing inside sales support, management of accounts and orders for customers.
Essential Functions: Order entry.
Provide quotations.
Check pricing.
Coordinate with other departments.
Notify customers of shipment information.
Assist other CSRs.
Provides Sales Dept.
and/or customers with pricing on bills of material.
Meet customer inquiries.
Work with customers and offer alternatives to help resolve problems.
Maintain and file all proper records related to customer inquiries, orders, etc.
Serve on special project teams.
Assist in training new personnel.
Monitor, evaluate, and present solutions to potential problem areas affecting Customer Service.
Prepare customer complaints, records information, resolve customer conflicts and emergencies.
Prepare and forward preliminary paperwork for return of material.
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
Four years industrial or manufacturing sales experience preferred.
Good computer skills and experience.
Requires diligent presence in work area to be responsive to customer calls and e-mails.
Knowledge and experience with telephone contact preferred.
