Job Summary: Customer Service Representatives are responsible for building relationships with our customers and assuring their business needs are met.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Have positive interactions and communication with all customers and suppliers.
Manage multiple customer orders, associated tasks, and projects simultaneously and respond quickly to all customer requests.
Take responsibility for the profitability of each of your individual customer order transactions (working in conjunction with Field Sales when necessary).
Develop and ensure sense of urgency and culture of quality, safety, and adherence to company core values.
Manage customers and suppliers with a positive attitude.
Work to meet required customer ship dates.
Work customer open customer order reports weekly via your SXe OEIO screen and your open supplier PO report as provided.
Take responsibility for the completion of your orders through the invoicing stage in OEIO.
Process orders and quotations accurately and timely.
Provide quotation copies to field sales reps on a timely basis.
Work closely with field sales to meet customer needs (quotations, pricing, project work, product research, expediting)
Keep customer cross-reference and customer contract pricing current.
Work to increase GM% with non-contract customers.
Actively participate in the outbound call campaign as required.

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, i-Pads, smartphones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While the office portion of this job is largely a sedentary role, you need to have the ability to lift files and boxes.
You should have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds, climb stairs and walk the plant floor if necessary.
