Properly analyzes and then registers patients recording demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data into registration / order entry system ensuring accuracy necessary for proper registration, billing, and test requisition.
Uses multiple electronic systems (LIS, HMS, E-Care Next, Atlas, Any Doc, LabFirst Test Catalog, Quest, etc) to conduct registration and order entry functions.
Processes and prepares specimens, maintaining proper specimen identification and sample integrity, for testing in the various laboratory sections.
Works cooperatively with others, supports, and addresses any customer service needs.
