Overview: Spare Time Family Entertainment Center in Trussville, AL is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Guest Services Supervisor to join our team.
As the Guest Services Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by supervising our front-line team members and overseeing the daily operations of our guest services department.
This is a full-time position with opening and closing duties required.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the guest services team to ensure high-quality customer service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Train, coach, and mentor new team members to ensure they are well-equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Oversee the daily operations of the guest services department, including managing guest inquiries, resolving guest issues or complaints, and ensuring efficient queue management.
Assist in scheduling and assigning tasks to guest services team members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
Perform opening and closing duties, including cash register reconciliation, securing the facility, and conducting pre-shift briefings.
Handle light paperwork duties such as maintaining attendance records, preparing reports, and updating guest services procedures as needed.
Collaborate with other department supervisors and management to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction throughout the facility.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming guest services area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
Stay informed about facility activities, promotions, and special events to effectively communicate information to guests.
Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a guest services, customer service, or hospitality supervisory role is highly desirable.
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members of all levels.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.
g.
, Microsoft Office suite) and experience with point-of-sale systems is an asset.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service to our guests.
