Our Value Creation Center (VCC) organization in our home office centralizes the referring dentist and patient calls for scheduling appointments, verifying patient insurance, and handling the billing processes with healthcare plans.
We are searching for a Patient Services Specialist who will have one of the most important roles in the office - the face and smile of our practice projected through each call you take.
As a Patient Services Specialist, you will be able to focus your time on providing the very best patient attention in a compassionate and caring environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist our patients and dental office groups with their scheduling procedures for clinical visits Consistently maintain a professional, friendly attitude.
Successfully schedule appointments with accuracy.
Review procedure: what to expect at appointment, from surgery and during recovery.
Review insurance coverage with client during call to ensure financial transparency.
Answer questions to minimize concerns regarding appointment.
Assist billing team; process payments, review and correct client statements, follow up on aging balances, investigate and post EOB’s when needed.
Created a training binder for onboarding Requirements: Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Ideally 1+ years of customer or patient focused experience Required 1+ years of call center experience or retail experience with customers Fluency in Spanish is desired, but not required
