Hotel Housekeeper
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and other designated areas of the hotel
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies in rooms and common areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and sanitation standards
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
- Floor care: Experience in cleaning and maintaining different types of flooring surfaces such as carpet, tile, and hardwood
- Hospitality: Understanding the importance of providing a clean and comfortable environment for guests
- Industrial cleaning: Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for commercial-grade equipment and surfaces
- Housekeeping management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate with other housekeeping staff
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel operations, including guest room cleaning procedures and standards
