Section 2: Position Purpose
The Warehouse Worker position exists in Sodexo Live! venues of varied sizes and within varied lines of
business, such as Sports Stadiums, Entertainment Arenas, Convention Centers and Universities.
They are responsible for the receiving, unloading, storing and distributing of food product, retail merchandise and other supplies, while maintaining a neat and organized work environment.
They will typically operate a forklift, electric cart and other equipment, and will be responsible for strictly adhering to all Sodexo Live! standards and established venue policies for accuracy, sanitation and workplace safety.
Section 3: Responsibilities, Supporting Actions and End-Results Major Responsibility: Support warehouse operations by performing tasks in the areas of receiving, inventory, delivery and organizing, as directed by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Supporting Actions: • Coordinate daily priorities and activities with Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to requisitions and distributing requisitions for processing.
• Sort and place product and supplies on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Accurately read and organize requisitions to determine items to be gathered and distributed.
• Ensure product rotation dates are clearly marked and adhered to; Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Complete necessary paperwork to document product that is received and/or distributed; Accurate input amounts and items received and distributed and ensure accuracy in transmitting documentation to the corporate office.
• Assisting in completion of daily/weekly/monthly physical inventory counts, as directed.
• Set up, transport, test and break down portable food service equipment, as needed.
• Operate forklift, electric cart and other mobile equipment safely and responsibly at all times; Maintain appropriate operating certifications, as necessary.
• Assist with cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities; Remove boxes and recyclables regularly; Ensure that all work areas are kept neat and tidy; Wipe down surfaces, sweep, mop, remove garbage and debris and put supplies and materials in proper place.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment, as needed; Ensure all equipment and appliances are operated in a correct and safe manner, and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Continually observe surroundings and monitor storage areas to ensure they are properly attended to; Immediately alert Security of any suspicious activity.
• Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from time to time.

• Wash and dry hands frequently.
• Utilize box cutters for opening boxes and ensure proper usage and storage of knives.
• Utilize proper lifting procedures; Use a hand truck or cart to transport large items and ask for assistance when necessary.
• Do not move too quickly or run through warehouse or other back of house areas.
• Move cautiously near corners and when carrying things; Report any blind corners, problem floor surfaces, or hazardous areas.

Section 6: Job Qualifications/Skills Required: • High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a food service/operations/warehousing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work well independently.
• Ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment.
