J*OB SUMMARY:*
The primary objective of this position is to offer food, drinks, and excellent customer service to all dining room guests.

*ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Greet all guest with enthusiasm and friendliness.
* Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
* Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
* Does side work during non-busy hours.
* Always speaks to guests with enthusiasm.
* Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards.
* Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner.
* Always maintains a professional appearance.
* Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.
* Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers.
* Follows standard operating procedures.
* Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
* Performs duties as assigned.
* Maintains full knowledge of menus, and other pertinent information.
* Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
* Ensures that guests have a positive and memorable experience.
* Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
* Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
* Punches clock in full uniform, ready to work.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*
* Country club and/or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
* Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
* Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time.
* Ability to demonstrate menu competency as outlined in the training program.
* Excellent people skills and outgoing personality.
* Team player, hard worker, and honest
* Must be of age to serve alcohol.
*Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations*
· Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals.
· Work in compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and club’s health and safety policies and procedures.
· Ensure that the kitchen and/or work area is kept clean and tidy.
· Report all accidents, illnesses or “near-miss” incidents immediately to the manager on duty or supervisor.
· Attention to detail by making sure all pots and cookware are thoroughly clean and work tasks are completed in full.
· Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
*Licenses and Special Requirements*
· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification.
· Food safety certification.
*Physical Demands and Work Environment:*
· Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend,
stretch and twist or reach.
· Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
· Continuous repetitive motions.
· Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
