*Summary:* Compiles and maintains accounts payable records by performing the following duties. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sets up and maintains vendor accounts. Vouchers all invoices for payment once approved Reviews and vouchers employee expense reports for payment once approved Audits freight invoices against freight manifests. Responds to vendor inquiries. Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted. Prepares accounts payable checks. Prepares analysis of accounts as required. Obtains and files certificates of insurance. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to vendors and other employees of the organization. *Mathematical Skills* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. *Reasoning Ability* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
