Responsibilities:
- Perform various janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Perform floor care tasks including buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Assist with commercial and industrial cleaning tasks as needed
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repair or maintenance needs
Skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning and industrial cleaning practices
- Knowledge of custodial duties and best practices for maintaining cleanliness
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers for floor care
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
- Understanding of proper sanitation procedures for different areas within a facility
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
Schedule:
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Weekends as needed

* Birmingham, AL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
